Prof. Gin:

An alchemist of substatial skill, if less than substantial drive.
She is an ex-state alchemist that defected after the experiments she was encouraged to participate in became less than savory.
Gin is of average stature and apperance, neither thin nor fat, pretty nor ugly, nor physicaly extordinairy in any way so long as you do not look too closely. Her usual atire is a baggy, worn grey sweatshirt and a pair of omnipresent dark spetecles.
She can often be found secluded in the basement of her new residence, scratching away at a note book or carving sybols into various items. An occational flash of light may issue forth, but it is often followed by either a cloud of acrid smoke, or a long stream of cursing. Sometimes both.
She is friendly and pleasent to be around most of the time, if a bit absent-minded, but will occationaly lapse into much, much darker moods.
Gin specializes in the creation of chimeras, but is curently researching methods to create chimeras that actually hatch from eggs and grow, the thory being that while normal chimeras are often unstable and feral, a newborn raised among humans would be much more tame.
She is often seen with a small creature on her shoulder that resembles a pale blue, scaleless lizard with six legs. She refers to it as "nii-chan" and its origin is currently a mystery.
